Every One Brings One

Every One Brings One to experience the love of Jesus and the gift of belonging at Risen Savior. Many of us first found our way to Risen Savior because someone cared enough to invite us, and now we have the opportunity to do the same.
Being intentional about inviting family, friends, and neighbors doesn’t have to be complicated. It can happen in everyday moments—meeting a new neighbor, enjoying coffee with a friend, or even chatting while getting a haircut. You may find yourself wondering if someone you know has a church home or a place to grow in faith and community. There are so many people we love and care about who are missing out on learning about and having a relationship with God.
Over the next year, we encourage you to prayerfully invite someone to join you at a Sunday service, Bible study, or church event. Feeling nervous about how to do this? That’s okay! A great place to start is to invite someone to one of our upcoming connect events—low pressure, welcoming, and full of opportunities for fun and connection. Below there are some ideas and also suggested events/services.
Throughout the year, we’ll continue to encourage you to pray and listen for who God may be placing on your heart to invite. Trust that He is already at work!
While you pray on who to invite this year, visit our Welcome Center where  there is a basket of "mini" Jesus' so be sure to grab one and use it as a simple visual reminder.  Place him on your kitchen counter or in your car as a reminder to you that Every One Brings One to Risen Savior in 2026!
Ways to Connect with an Invite...
Make it personal...
We have new "Invitation Stations" at each building.  These stations will be out all year, so feel free to take as many invites as you need. If you prefer to utilize an electronic invitation, all of our events and services on our website have the ability to be "shared" via email or text. If you aren't sure how to do this, simply ask a staff member or volunteer.
When talking with someone mention something RSLCS offers that would interest them i.e. children's ministry opportunities, worship music, Mens/Women's Bible Studies or an upcoming event/sermon series. There really is something for everyone!
Another option is to text a heartfelt message with a personal invite. Mention a specific sermon series that made you think of them and send a link to the sermon that may interest them. https://www.risensavioraz.org/livestreams
Remember if someone says "no, they aren't interested" try not to take it personally. You have planted the seed and now God can begin His work! You never know when they might reach out to you later.
Join Them for Worship...
Did you know...Over 80% of people say they would try a church if they were personally invited. BUT, only about 2% of people EVER invite someone they know to their church-Let's change this! When you invite someone, offer to attend worship or the event with them. Mention that coffee and doughnuts are available before the service so you can meet them early to find a seat together. Or you can suggest coffee or lunch after the event/service. Many people are hesitant to go to church alone, especially for the first time.  Meeting them on campus early and going into the building with them will help make them feel more at home.
Answer Their Questions...
Most people have questions about church or God-especially the unchurched.  Do the best you can and share your church/faith story if you're comfortable doing so or share a favorite Bible verse that is a favorite of yours. If you don't know the answer to something they ask, don't worry! None of us have all the answers and refer them to our office/pastor if they have more questions.

Show Them Ways to Develop Their Faith...
Whether they have kids that can attend one of the youth ministries or just haven't taken a Bible Study in years, there are many ways to help your friend/neighbor develop further in their faith. Here are some ways to share RSLCS with your friends:
You can "Follow and "Like" the RS Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/rslcs. "Check-in" on Facebook when you attend church worship or any events here on campus. You may have a friend who is looking for a church that sees this action online and reaches out to ask you about Risen Savior.
Mention a Bible Study that may be of interest or a sermon series to get them started.
