Every One Brings One

Every One Brings One to experience the love of Jesus and the belonging of community to experience Risen Savior for the first time. We want to become an inviting church. What does that even mean?  When you meet a new neighbor, have coffee with a friend or are talking with a stranger...do you ever wonder if they have a church home?
We want to encourage you over the next year to invite these people with you to church.  Sound too scary? Invite them to our next public/connect event, less pressure and they are bound to have a fun! Throughout the year, we will be asking you to be bold as we remind you of great opportunities to invite someone with you to church.
We have "mini" Jesus at our Welcome Centers for you to grab, pray upon and use as a reminder to find the person to invite to church this year.  Place Him on your desk, in your car or purse to remind you that Every One Brings One!
Ways to Connect...
Make it personal...
We have new "Invitation Stations" at each building with a variety of invitation options.  Choose one that you think will best fit the person you are going to invite to church.  These stations will be out all year, so feel free to take as many invites as you need. If you prefer, all of our events on our website have the ability to be "shared" via email or text.
When talking with someone mention something RS offers that would interest them i.e. children's ministry opportunities, worship music, Mens/Women's Ministry or an upcoming event/sermon series.
Text a heartfelt message with an invite. Mention a specific sermon series that made you think of them or send a link to a sermon that may interest them. https://www.risensavioraz.org/livestreams
Remember if someone says "no, they aren't interested" try not to take it personally. You have planted the seed and now God can begin His work! You never know when they might reach out to you later.
Join Them to Worship...
Did you know...Over 80% of people say they would try a church if they were personally invited. BUT, only about 2% of people EVER invite someone they know to their church-Let's change this! When you invite someone, offer to attend worship with them. Mention the coffee and doughnuts before the service. Maybe suggest coffee or lunch afterwards. Many people are hesitant to go to church alone.
Answer Their Questions...
Most people have questions about church or God.  When an opportunity arises, talk about something that your church offers that may be of interest to your friend or neighbor.  Are they looking to connect with other men or women? Learn more about the Bible/Jesus? In search of a community? These are great times to tell them about RS and why you have chosen this as your church community.
Show Them Ways to Develop...
Whether they have kids that can attend one of the youth ministries or just haven't taken a Bible Study in years, there are many ways to help your friend/neighbor develop further in their faith. Here are some ways to share RS with your friends:
"Follow and "Like" the RS Facebook page. "Check-in" on Facebook when you attend church worship or any events here on campus. You may have a friend who is looking for a church that sees this action and reaches out to ask you about RS.
If you have any questions contact the Church Office about ideas on how to invite someone to church or an event, please contact info@risensavioraz.org. No matter what, don't give up.  The more people you invite increases your odds of someone saying yes.
